School drop off and pick up service

Children may arrive from 7:30am for breakfast club or between 8 and 8:30am, latest, for school drop off. We drop off and pick up from Fairfield, Colneis, Kingsfleet, Maidstone, Causten and Trimley St Mary. The children are transported to their various schools in our own fully insured vehicles. At home time staff will be waiting in the playground, or by the office, to bring your child back to the nursery ready for snack time. We liase closely with the schools to make pick up and drop off a smooth transition. A range of activities are planned each day for the children including arts and crafts, board games, reading books, puzzles, computers and large group games. Every day we plan a project, it can be baking buns, painting rockets, making bookmarks, creating under sea world etc.

Outside we can run off any excess energy playing football, riding bikes or playing in the sand.

We know that everyday their choice depends on how their day at school has gone!

School holiday care

During every school holiday period we have places availalbe between 7:30am and 6pm.

On arrival with the parent, the child signs in at the front desk. Children are always welcomed by a member of staff and any information the parent wishes to relay can be done so at this time.

Children will then have a free choice of activities, equipment and areas they can move between. This may include arts and crafts, computer games, music sessions, board games, junk box modelling, painting, construction or books.

But that's not all....

Activities are carefully planned throughout all the holidays, every day a different project is presented with a trip or outing (weather permitting). Please contact us for details of our holiday programme. This allows for freedom of choice for the parents.

Parents are given the opportunity to sign their child up for supervised field trips. For example a trip to the park, cinema, adventure parks, bowling, swimming, walks and rides on buses and trains, climbing walls, craft centres, cake decorating. Additional costs stated on each trip, no hidden charges. Please ask for details of any upcoming holiday activity schedule.

A 2 course lunch is included daily, and when a trip spans lunchtime, we provie a picnic.

Having fun and being busy is very important!

Children can mix with their friends old and new. At the end of each session, when parents arrive, the children and staff can discuss the events of the day.
